Movement
This spring-driven day-going miniature table clock has a brass movement between plates, consisting of going and striking trains with engraved spring barrels. The going train has verge escapement with hairspring balance and regulation. The balance oscillates under a pierced and engraved balance cock. The striking indicates the hours fully on a bell.

Dial
The gilt-brass dial plate carries a silvered brass champlevé chapter ring with Roman hour numerals, half-hour markers in the shape of a cross and quarter-hour divisions. The centre is embellished with ring motifs. The time is indicated by a single blued-steel hand.

Case
The square firegilt brass case is embellished with four different engraved animals in the corners around the dial. The sides have four silver-framed windows through which the movement is visible. The bottom lid, containing the bell, can be opened with a catch. The clock rests on four silver feet.
