Movement
Wall watch with brass plated movement with verge escapement and adjustable balance. The going train is taken over by a spring placed in a barrel, which is wound at the back.
Dial
The oval dial of this Bourdoir wall watch has a silvered number ring with black Arabic numerals for the hour and minute indications. A scene with cherubs is depicted in the centre.
Case
The oval and fire-gilded brass case is surrounded by floral and leaf motifs on the front around the dial. The fixed winding key and the button for adjusting the hands are located at the back. The whole thing hangs on a side ribbon connected to a brass profiled suspension eye.
