MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK

Movement
Brass movement with Swiss anchor escapement and adjustable balance. The clock is wound at the back. The square for setting the hands is also located here.

Dial
The circular white enamel dial has an Arabic chapter ring and five-minute divisions and strokes for the remaining minutes. The time is indicated by two elegantly made blued steel hands, of which the hour hand has a lily motif.

Case
The rich ‘Rococo’ gilt brass case is surmounted by an elegant, moulded handle. The top has a bevelled glass through which the adjustable balance is visible. At the rear there is a door embellished by a blind pierced panel depicting leaf vines and engravings. It is signed on the inside F. Schlesicky, Hof-Uhrmacher, Schillerstrasse 5 Frankfurt a/M.

Travelling case
The clock can be put in a special case for transport, which is covered with brown leather and decorated with gold leaf. The original key is located in the bottom of the case.
