Circa 1920
Switzerland
Movement
Brass movement with going train only, regulated by a Swiss lever escapement and vertically adjustable compensation balance.
Dial
The arched silvered dial in art deco style has a painted Arabic chapter ring and a rim with minute marks, with those for the five minutes being more pronounced. The time is indicated by two blued steel hands with luminous geometric surfaces. The dial is protected by a glass set in a silver bezel.
Case
The arched silver case, which rests on a light green agate foot, is geometrically engine-turned all around under light green translucent enamel of very high quality. The case has a silver backdoor, in which the silver hallmark argent 935 and the numbering 1532 STYLO are stamped. From this side the clock can be wound and the hands set.
Case
The red/brown leather case is lined with silk on the inside. The case can be opened by means of the clasp on the front. It has a panel on the inside in which the original key can be stored.
