Movement
The weight-driven brass movement of this lantern clock has going, striking and alarm train, constructed between vertical bars. The going train has a horizontal verge escapement and a short silk-suspended pendulum.

Dial
The white enamel dial has a chapter ring with Roman hour, Arabic five minutes and minutes divisions. The time is indicated by a pair of brass pierced and engraved hands, with in the centre a brass alarm disc.

Case
The brass case of this miniature lantern clock is of typical form with two doors to the sides and a backplate with hoop and spikes. It is surmounted by a bell. The top corners are embellished by turned brass finials. There are four drop finials below the bottom plate. Around the bell are three pierced frets, the front one engraved.
